*sighs*
Homework is a holy duty (oh yeah!), and I'm actually saying it in a satirical way. Ha ha. Homework. It's a great duty. It's a great burden. Yeah, burden.. Whatever! Okay so I created this playlist called "It's Homework Time", specially designed to accompany me during my homework time. Sometimes it feels so lonesome and boring when doing homework and that's why I always listen to music while doing my homework. You guys must have had some playlists containing some cool songs to accompany your cold and lonely night on your iPod (wtf it's not that lonely and it's not that cold!). However, I do believe that it would be good to select good music for certain playlist, especially this kind of playlist.
Basically I listen to three kinds of music while doing my homework (and later while trying to sleep): ballad, acoustic, and alternative. As for me, I'd better listen to acoustic tunes or alternative tunes while doing my homework, rather than ballad tunes. Studying is the moment when you need to concentrate but you can't let your brain overwork because it might crash and explode (and eww that'd be disgusting). And oh! That'd smell like chemical formulas! Eww! So "It's Homework Time" is a playlist of (generally) alternative tunes I selectively designed to fulfill my needs of feeling relaxed during the homework time. The playlist contains of fifteen songs which, I believe, won't make your brain explode (unless you set the volume to the maximum). T There are songs taken from the soundtrack album of my favorite music-based game, DJMAX. The subgenre varies and you will find some K-pop tunes in this playlist.
So here are the tracklist of the playlist (or in 8tracks we call it "Mix"):
- David Cook - Always Be My Baby
- Joey Yung - Wallpaper
- Hollywood Nobody - Kiss the Pain Away
- Garina Project - Shady Sky
- Kim Taeyeon - It's Happy Line (Studio version)
- Oasis - Don't Look Back in Anger (Acoustic live)
- Beyoncé - If I Were a Boy
- Lene Marlin - Disguise
- Lenka - Skipalong
- Copeland - Coffee
- M2M - Why
- PIA - Become Myself
- Planetboom - Raise Me Up
- Jay Chou - Romantic Cellphone
- John Mayer - Slow Dancing in a Burning Room
As for me, my favorite tracks are Yung's "Wallpaper", Copeland's "Coffee", Planetboom's "Raise Me Up", Marlin's "Disguise", and Cook's "Always Be My Baby". I should have put M2M's "Why" in the 14th place because to be honest the song makes me sleepy quite easily, and Mayer's slow-paced "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" would be a great lullaby that can make me sleep on my desk. Well, I hope you like the playlist, I mean, the mix! Share it with your friends if you like it.
